The Rampart High School Band Boosters Organization became a new, non-profit corporation, as recognized by the Internal Revenue Service, Section 501(C)(3), in September 2002.  It has a strong history of excellent service to the high school, its students and its instrumental music program.

The treasurer maintains financial records and keeps a full and accurate account of receipts and expenditures.  All financial transactions are recorded and summarized in a general ledger.  Written financial reports are given to the Executive Board at its regular scheduled meetings and summaries are presented at general membership meetings. Financial statements are available to membership upon request.  The treasurer also coordinates with an Auditor or Audit Committee and provides copies of bank statements and financial reports.

The student accounts manager records student account activities and maintains current statements for Band Booster parents regarding the status of student accounts.   These funds may be used by students to offset expenses for various band and color guard functions and activities.

Applicable student account expenses may ONLY include:

  • Band and color guard student costs, fees and contribution
  • Honor band, solo and ensemble fees
  • Tuition, books and fees for clinics, conferences and competitions
  • Music and dance lessons

Student Scholarship funds are administered by the Band Boosters, with the Executive Board having sole discretion involving the disbursement of funds.
